How Does Florida Student Athlete Profile Services help you?

Trends in High School Athletic Participation: over the past 13 years, the number of high school athletic participants has dramatically increased. According to national surveys, the number of male participants in high school athletics has risen 22% since 1991. The number of female participants in high school athletics has also risen 37% during the same period. Additionally, the vast majority of high school athletes have plans of continuing their sports careers at a collegiate level.

Taking Action: The increase in high school athletic participation means that college coaches are being bombarded with more letters and telephone calls than ever! Unless you are being directly recruited while in your junior year of high school, do not assume that college coaches know who you are. Additionally, parents and athletes should not put all their faith in their high school’s athletic director or coach. High school athletic directors and coaches do not have the time or resources to focus on every athlete. Typically, athletic directors focus their attention on the "blue chip" athletes.

Florida Student Athlete Profile Services, Inc. is here to make sure that athletes who are not being recruited, and may not be "blue chip players," do not prematurely end their careers or dreams. We understands that it takes massive, consistent action, and a well-planned marketing strategy to help high school athletes continue their sports careers at a collegiate level. Our primary objective is to get an athlete noticed, and into college.

A. The Game Plan:

We work with each client on an individual basis. We take the time to understand what each client hopes to accomplish. After we know our clients' goals we put together a unique and specialized marketing plan. Once a plan is created, we implement the plan in an aggressive and consistent manner to make certain that he or she receives the attention and consideration of the targeted coaches.

B. Formulating the plan - Florida Student Athlete Profile Services will:

• Assist the athlete in determining which NCAA division(s) they should target;
• Assist in deciding which school meets the athlete's educational and athletic requirements;
• Assess the athlete's strengths and weaknesses in order to present the athlete in the best light;
• Gather vital information and statistics to generate marketing materials;
• Create a marketing time frame and implementation program.

C. Implementing the Plan: Once the plan is created, we immediately begin its implementation. Depending upon the plan and program level chosen by the client we:

• Create initial contact correspondence to targeted coaches;
• Create targeted written and e-mail progress reports;
• Create, maintain, and update athlete profile pages;
• Create and edit performance highlight videos;
• Have the athlete's statistics validated by a certified physical fitness trainer or a high school coach;
• Assist in increasing the athlete’s SAT/ACT scores by finding adequate tutoring;
• Draft follow-up correspondence requesting telephone or video/web conferences and meetings with the targeted coaches;
• Prepare clients for personal interviews and campus visits;

Note: All materials are signed by the athlete and are on the athlete’s own letterhead (which we create for the client).

D. Establishing Success:

In contrast to traditional approaches, our innovative style of marketing creates a strong impact upon college coaches and athletic directors. Our innovative, dynamic approach, and technical abilities pave the way for ground-level communication between athletes and his or her targeted coaches. We offer Video/Web conferencing services that draw more coaches and recruiters to the prospective student athlete because of the savings involved with travel and time.

• Keeps in direct contact with the parents and athletes to ensure that we have the most current performance information;
• Stays current with recruiting calendars, schedules and NCAA requirements for the athletes;
• Examines and evaluates the progress of our marketing campaign;
• Utilizes the most modern video conferencing technology;
• Maintains state of the art video system with pre-loading stream technology that eliminates video delays while being used by collegiate coaches.
• Makes all necessary adjustments to the campaign to ensure positive responses;
